Register a Device

Register your device in the hub before physically connecting it. This generates the auth token your device will use.

Choose Device Type
Select the category that best matches your device

Enter Device Information
Provide details to identify your device

Choose a descriptive name like "Front Door Lock" or "Server Room Sensor"

Optional: "Main Entrance", "Floor 2", "Building A"

Important:Save this token securely. You'll need to configure it on your physical device. Click "Generate Token" in the add device dialog to create a new one.

Add Device in Dashboard
Use the Devices page to register your device
  1. aNavigate to Devices in the sidebar
  2. bClick the + Add Device button
  3. cFill in the device details and click Add Device
  4. dCopy the token — you'll need it in the next step

Tip:Use the "Generate Token" button to create a secure random token, or enter your own following the format: tok_[type]_[identifier]
